A few belated posts, and Tanabata

So, after an issue with a broken USB cable, I'm ready to update this blog again. I have a lot of cool stuff to catch up on. I'll start off with something simple, Tanabata.

In Japan, July 7th is a festival known as Tanabata. Tanabata celebrates an old legend about two lovers named Orihime and Hikoboshi. They were separated by a river of stars and only allowed to see each other once a year. On Tanabata, it's customary to write wishes down on paper tags and tie them to bamboo plants.
